1.5hr Intermediate Trail Ride
1.5 Hours ~ $200/couple
This ride is designed for intermediate riders (please refer to skill level definitions on the Guided Trail Rides page) who can
comfortable canter in a group. Beginners can also do this ride with the hope that they may be able to do a little more than walk but should not be mixed with more advanced riders who expect to canter. Under all circumstances we ride to the skill and comfort level of the lowest level rider. Cantering is never guaranteed and we cannot be held accountable for anyone in the group who has misrepresented their experience. We will do our best to match riders by skill level.
This ride includes steep inclines, possibly slippery terrain and water crossings. There are many opportunities to see deer, moose, wild turkey, fox and a myriad of birds. Mushrooms and wild flowers are fun to look for throughout the season. Lady slippers abound in late May and June. A beaver dam holds up one side of the trail and their den can be seen from the trail. Hawks, bald eagles and loons can be seen quite often as well.
We offer these rides every day throughout the summer and during winter and spring as trail conditions allow.
