New at Carousel Horse Farm
We have three new mounts this year! Jonny and Autumn hail from Florida and so far seem to enjoy their new home, new herd and the trails. Both are Belgian crosses under 16 hands so they can carry our larger riders when necessary. Autumn is doing a great job on our intermediate rides, she definitely takes good care of her rider. Jonny is going to be his best with our beginners, taking them slowly and steadily through our pastures. Crystal is a recruit from Maine she is going to be a dream pony for young girls and boys this year. She’s not technically a pony, she is a beautiful palomino Quarter Horse with fine bones and a 14.2 hand stature. Her white face and dainty bone structure just make her look like a young child’s dream.
Krystine is a Maine native with extensive riding background at other local stables. Her background is dressage and trail riding and she will be welcoming our new riders and guiding rides beginning mid June and through the summer.
And, though she’s not new to our farm, I must mention Stephanie who worked hard for the last three seasons. She filled in for everyone when they couldn’t make it to work. She took great care of the horses year round and guided Winter Wonderland trail rides during our first official season, sometimes for over 6 hours a day in below 20 degree weather!! Most of you know her already, she was probably your guide when you were here last. Give her a great review the next time you see her, she sure deserves it.
