When, Why and How Special Rides Happen
This program is for our single riders who’d like to join a group and make a day of it on horseback. Couples and individual groups are welcome and if there is enough interest we will add a ride to another date. We will schedule these rides throughout the year ahead of time. Join our mailing list or like us on Facebook so you can keep up-to-date on these special rides.
What Makes These Rides Special?
These rides use routes that we do not use often in the regular coarse of our business. We will pack out a picnic lunch that you bring with you and stop for a bite somewhere along the ride. We’d like to include some of our experienced or intermediate riders that want to come ride on their own but the cost is too high to go private and a group ride can sometimes be boring. All of our safety precautions are still in effect but we will do our best to make sure everyone gets a chance to have a fun ride at their level. If you are interested in riding with us regularly, then the structure of the ride and freedom to ride at your level could become even better as the guide gets to know your experience and you get to know our horses.
The First Special Ride in 2018
Our first Special Program ride will be on Sunday June 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. This trail ride will go through the Nun’s Farm Loop which takes us down the middle of One Mile Brook and up Poplar Ridge to a spectacular view of Mt. Washington, then along the Canadian Pipe line and back into Jugtown Forest. We must have a minimum number of riders so reserve early! The cost is $125 per person.
