Sun Porch Information and Pricing
If you are visiting the area for any reason you can rent our cute Sun Porch with private bath, entrance and small kitchenette. A two person quiet spot with queen size bed, kitchen table, smart tv with wifi access, love seat and chairs, microwave, small refrigerator and deck overlooking the horse paddocks and barn. Parking right at the door and access to fire pit and grill are included. You do not have to use our services to stay with us.
Weekends at the Sun Porch are a minimum of two nights stay for $225 including a cleaning fee and taxes. Other nights of the week are $85 per night all fees and taxes included. Weekly rental rates available. Additional fee for pets of $25 per night. There is no checkout time on Sundays for riders as long as we don’t have anyone coming in that night. Otherwise checkout time is 12 pm and check in is 3 pm.
Bring Your Pet to the Sun Porch
One dog is welcome to stay in the Sun Porch at a time. Must be quiet, house trained and carry paperwork with all shots, rabies, deworming and cannot have fleas. Owners must pick up after pets and keep them on a leash at all times while on the property. Farm dogs, chickens and goats are loose on the property so only dogs who are friendly with dogs, livestock and people are welcome.
Bring Your Own Horse to the Sun Porch
If you want to bring your own horses with you to the Sun Porch we have outdoor sheds with private paddocks available for two visiting horses in direct sight of the Sun Porch! Direct access to trails on a 5,000 acre recreational area makes our farm the perfect trail riding get away. Visit www.jugtownforest.org for more information on trails. What To Do and Where to Eat When You’re Not in the Sun Porch
A ten minute walk from the Sun Porch brings you to Pears Ice Cream and Hoagies a great stop for a light take away dinner you can eat on the town beach by Pleasant Lake or at their outdoor picnic area. Next door is the Casco Village Store which offers pizza, sandwiches and a small selection of groceries and alcohol.
Five miles away from the Sun Porch award winning brews and food await! On the Naples Causeway take a leisurely walk and choose from four full service restaurants with lake views, decks and beer gardens with craft beer! Nightly entertainment is a regular thing on the causeway. Off the causeway and a bit closer to home are the Galley, Black Bear Cafe and a diner. Dunkin donuts is right there too for you caffeine addicts!
The causeway also has boats and watercraft rentals of all kinds from kayaks and paddle boards to pontoon boats and jet skis. The Songo River Queen does daily tours of Long Lake and night time live music with alcohol and food aboard. Water plane tours are also available but require reservations ahead for the trip.
Within 20 minutes of the Sun Porch is the casino, several hikes with gorgeous views, many lakes and rivers to fish or boat on, golf courses, antiques shops, quaint villages to window shop and movie theaters. There is definitely something for everyone in this area!
We are working on some on farm classes and clinics such as yoga, gardening, acupressure, trail obstacle course, wild life/nature walks and more for our Sun Porch visitors!
There is a pharmacy, hardware store, Family Dollar, ATMs and grocery store near the causeway for essentials jsut 5 miles away. Walmart is 12 miles away.
